Yale BREATHE Haven Research Study

Help us understand how your home’s environment affects respiratory health. Yale researchers are partnering with NHS of New Haven to study home environments and develop tools to make all homes healthier.

What’s Involved:

  • Two 2-hour home visits, 3 months apart
  • Health and home surveys
  • Breathing tests
  • Dust and water sample collection
  • Thermal images of your home’s perimeter
  • Home air monitoring for 3 months

Are You Eligible?

  • Age 18+
  • Live in a 1-4-unit building
  • Not planning to move within 3 months
  • Not current smoker or vaper
  • English or Spanish speaking
  • Not currently pregnant
