Residents across Connecticut choose HomeEnergy ConneCT to co-create custom energy upgrade plans to save money and improve the comfort, health, and performance of their homes.
Through cost-free one-on-one services, HomeEnergy ConneCT identifies appropriate contractors and funding opportunities and provides trusted advice for the duration of each upgrade.
Am I Eligible To Participate?
We serve all incomes (we are a cost-free service and will find resources that work for your financial situation).
We serve homeowners, renters, landlords, and people who are about to purchase a house.
We serve residents who live in housing with one to four units.
We serve households throughout the entire State of Connecticut.
Potential Home Upgrades
Insulation, air sealing, heating and cooling systems, water heaters, windows, sealing ductwork, solar, battery storage, EV chargers, removal of mold and asbestos, and other home energy projects.

Head Energy Engineer and Energy Counselor
Mike develops data-driven, comprehensive plans that guide customers from confusion to clarity when making complex decisions on energy efficiency upgrades.
Mike has more than 14 years of experience as an energy engineer designing and analyzing clean energy solutions. His work focuses on improving quality of life and resilience, while reducing energy use, enhancing ecological benefits, and delivering strong financial returns. Previously, he worked at Hitachi and IBM, supporting federal, industrial, commercial, and residential clients.
