Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven is proud to celebrate a major milestone within our HomeOwnership Center team. Lindita Ifti, Housing Specialist, has officially passed her national U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) exam to become certified in reverse mortgage counseling!
This accomplishment is not only a testament to Lindita’s dedication and expertise, but it also marks an exciting new chapter for our organization. With her certification, the HomeOwnership Center will soon be able to offer reverse mortgage counseling, expanding the services available to older homeowners in our community. We are thrilled to become one of the few agencies in the region providing this important and often hard-to-find resource.
Reverse mortgage counseling plays a crucial role in helping homeowners make informed, confident decisions about their financial futures, and Lindita’s achievement will allow us to offer guidance that is both trustworthy and HUD-approved.
