Reflections of our commitment to excellence.

Green Circle Award
• Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven received the 2010 GreenCircle Award from The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) for our work in benefiting the Connecticut environment. We received the award for our post-purchase homebuyer education programming in the state-of-the-art Home Improvement and Energy Conservation Laboratory, a hands-on training facility for homeowners to learn to maintain their homes and conserve energy. As energy costs continue to rise and many residents’ incomes remain limited, this knowledge has become critically important for homebuyers, homeowners and tenants to avoid unnecessary expenses.
