Ways In Which We Have Stretched Our Efforts

What does an organization like Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven do when a wonderful historic house is about to be demolished to make way for the development of a large apartment complex? The answer, of course, is to devise a way to move the house to a site that would accommodate it. Moving 400 Blake Street to 115 Valley Street in New Haven was not a project for the fainthearted! When everything was completed, however, a wonderful home was preserved for the new homeowner.
