Ways In Which We Have Stretched Our Efforts
In the summer of 2008, Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven completed the conversion of a former laundromat and commercial storefront into a two-family residence. We had acquired the abandoned properties known as 203 Dwight Street and 76-78 Edgewood Avenue from the City of New Haven. We transformed these two connected commercial structures into a two-family owner-occupied residence, within walking distance of downtown New Haven and Yale University. Many interesting design features, coupled with the preservation of key architectural details, make this renovated and restored structure one of the most unique residences in New Haven.
